The website needs to include all of the main information about The Panda Project: what the organisation and charity is about and why we feel it is important to help save the pandas, what the panda pack includes for £15 and pages for ordering the pack after providing the user will all of this information.
The research that I gathered focuses on a combination of minimal and bold aesthetics through heavy use of colour, block/big imagery and bold typography. My aim for The Panda Project website is to also follow a bold aesthetic which is heavily image and title based design, it doesn't need to be overcomplicated as further information is provided in the publication and additional items that come in the panda pack.
Donut brand web design:
- Overall cutesy and pastel aesthetic which relates to the colours of the donuts as well as the delicate and decorative toppings
- Engaging use of imagery such as large bitten donut image on first page, slide show of images of their donuts for user to scroll through
- Decorative details throughout the different pages such as large background shapes and donut sprinkles
- Consistent use of pink shades throughout
Brain School web design:
- I love the use of bright and contrasting colours throughout all of the pages, makes the site a lot more engaging and informative
- The colour palette is vibrant which gives a friendly and exciting aesthetic, encouraging the user to explore further
- The shapes within the branding are minimal and bold which means they can be used across all of the pages in different scales and compositions according to what the specific page is about alongside the text
- Only the most important information is displayed, doesn't overcomplicate.
- Bold titles and coloured backgrounds
Stork Ice cream web design:
- Instantly eye-catching straight from the launching page through the use of experimental photography, bold typography and bright coloured background
- Minimal x bold aesthetic works really well
- The ice cream flavour pages use only the main information needed; an image, price and short description- sometimes when websites provide too much information about one product it can become a bit boring and tedious to read through
- Choice of typeface works well- chunky serif font
