Ideas and SS20 Tierra Moodboards

Oliver Bonas have provided a project pack in which they have included the SS20 Tierra moodboards which are to be used to form the narrative of the designs that I create. My packaging concept will need to support 4 designs that work together as a collective. I am really excited to start this brief now and packaging design/design for print is very apparent and focused on in my design practice as I have always enjoyed it.

I find the aesthetic and theme that needs to be communicated throughout the designs interesting and relevant towards life as it focuses on nature and our surroundings which can include plants, outdoor textures and animals. For my designs I want the focus to be on animals and/or insects as I am passionate about them and think this could be communicated in an interesting way following the aims of this brief.

The submission for this brief needs to include:

• Outer packaging for the four candles.
•  The label that will go on the vessel (the container for the actual candle).
• Any other tactile paper or card elements that you feel will support the product story.
• A name for the range.
