Whilst designing the logo, the client asked me to also design the Season Yorkshire business cards. However, the logo was the main priority so my task was changed back to just designing and finishing the logo for the deadline, at the time the client mentioned that the business card designs can be put on hold and finished later on in the year. I have now decided to finish the business card designs following the initial business card designs and wireframes that I previously created see blog post 'Final Logo and Business Cards for Season Yorkshire'.
Below shows the design that I decided to go with for the business card, this design uses the front layout that peers voted best out of the bunch. I decided to keep the other side (back) of the business card minimal as most of the information is on the front, this also draw more attention to the illustration which is inspired by middle eastern print which relates to where the Season Yorkshire spices come from. The front of the business card uses the logo, company contact details and website.
Below shows the website design that I have created for Season Yorkshire.
Launch page:
The launch page uses a minimal yet bold design which aims instantly attract the user and encourage them to explore the website further, it simply displays the Season Yorkshire logo, slogan with a scroll button at the bottom which takes you to the main Season Yorkshire home.
Home page:
The current Season Yorkshire home page displays all of their products, I decided to stick to this as I think it works well since they only provide 4 products at the moment so it makes them the main focus. I think if they had more products the products page would need to be a separate page to the home page as home pages typically only display a few products or current offers. It sticks with the use of a minimal yet bold aesthetic to create consistency.
Product page:
The product page displays all of the key information about the product that the user would need to know: image, description, name, price, allergy information etc, luckily most of this information is provided on the current Season Yorkshire site. This page uses different text hierarchies, e.g. the name and allergy information are in bold with the descriptions smaller in regular. This page uses a minimal layout as the image and information are the main focus and need to be easy for the user to understand and view. When gathering research on websites, I noticed that the ones that used a complicated and busy aesthetic were quite off putting to use: poor UX.
Cart:
The cart page also follows the same rules and grids as the product page, it displays the key information needed before paying for the product: image, quantity of products, sub-total, delivery and payment options

The social media designs use Instagram as this is their main social media platform that Season Yorkshire are most active on, so it's important for the design and content to be well considered. Currently, the Season Yorkshire Instagram doesn't always use the strongest images so this is something that I focused on improving. The Instagram mockups include the home page, a post and a story highlight. The images that I chose are Season Yorkshires most vibrant and intriguing images that I gathered through researching further into their website and Facebook page.
