Packaging Mockups

This afternoon I have printed off mockups of two of the candle boxes with their developed labels (dragonfly and asian lady beetle), since all of the 4 designs are pretty much finished, I felt that it was important to print mockups before I print the final designs.

I felt that the packaging looks really eye-catching and engaging so I'm really happy with them, I felt all of the sizes of text were legible and clear and the illustrations create an overall experimental and bold aesthetic. I asked peers for feedback on the packaging but most of them said that the designs looked really effective and didn't have much feedback to give on areas to improve which confirmed that the designs are ready to be printed on Friday. Peer feedback also suggested that the different colour palettes also worked really well.

I printed the packaging slightly smaller so that they could fit onto A3 paper (not to scale), whereas the actual boxes are 10cm x 10cm cube shapes which I will mention in my submission for YCN.
