The Sziget 2020 fesival branding instantly caught my eye through the use of the bright colour palette and combination of chunky text, The Panda Project branding also focuses on this heavily. The limited but bright colour palette stands out to the user and encourages them to want to find out more about the festival.
I also found the use of simple shapes and symbols really interesting such as the stars, rainbows and eyes, if the branding used more detailed imagery and/or actual photographs I don't think the branding would be as intriguing and unique. The whole branding includes programmes, posters/banners, merchandise, signs, and wrist bands.
Hardcore fanzine was Published between 1989 and 1992, Good and Plenty was a punk and hardcore fanzine that was ambitious like no other. The dense blackness of the offset ink gives the illustrations and photography an interesting rich aesthetic whilst the details such as the two-colour duotone cover and overall colour palette of 3 colours gives a sleek, but punk style which is appropriate for the music genre's that the zine covers.
The contrast between the pages throughout the zine are also very interesting and make it more exciting, each page follows a slightly different layout approach but the overall zine still follows a consistent style.
I found Ergo magazine interesting through the use of the textured backgrounds alongside the white text, the panda publication will also follow this throughout as it makes the text stand out more and is a lot more engaging for the reader. The main typeface used for the titles in Ergo Magazine is bold and intriguing through the uses of the curved edges and irregular shapes.
