Practical Outcome Ideas

The brand that I chosen to re-brand is Vasant Masala as they focus on Eastern spices of that have high significance in traditional curries and masalas. The Vasant Masala branding is too stereotypical in terms of colours, the logo, additional imagery and Middle Eastern typography, the aim for the re-brand is to be more culturally appropriate and look into the history and stories of each spice instead.

The 3 spice packaging that will be re-branded are chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander cumin powder. However, I feel like there needs to be more to the re-brand than the 3 spice packets.

Practical outcome ideas for Vasant Masala re-brand:

  • New logo
  • Packaging of the 3 chosen spice packets
  • Advertising banners
  • Vasant Masala business cards? maybe unnecessary...where would they be? Would they come in the packets?
  • Size variations for the packets- medium size (60gm) and small (15gm). Different design variations for each size
  • Packet re-seal stickers!
  • Advertising posters? banners may be more impactful though
  • Social media- Instagram page, promotion, insta stories (after effects), twitter?
