Cohorted Placement Update

I had a chat with my manager (Anthony) a couple weeks ago as I was thinking of taking time off in December due to COP deadlines getting closer, since Wednesday is my only day off uni I want to use it for COP practical work instead of my placement day. Anthony said this was completely fine and was understanding about me needing to take time off to concentrate on uni work. I mentioned that I would start back as normal in January.

Anthony also mentioned that he was really pleased with the designs for the November booklet, so my next task was to start designing December and Januarys booklets, I was happy about this as I enjoy publication design. I mainly worked on January's booklet as my supervisor is also working on Decembers.

Below shows development for the January booklet that I have been working on the past 2 weeks (2 Wednesdays) I have now sent the InDesign document over to my design supervisor so that she can finish it while I'm away.

I also designed a few of December's booklet pages, however these are very initial designs that need more content adding for each brand. Furthermore, the December booklet needs to have a Christmassy touch to it, hence the rose gold, white, grey and greens.
