I emailed Shana earlier this week saying that I would like to finish up with the designs by the end of the week as I hadn't had a response off her since Wednesday (which turned out was because she was away). She was happy with the idea of getting the designs finished up by Friday as well which is convenient for me as the COP deadline is basically less than a month away, and also because the deadline for this project was meant to be no longer than around 3 weeks (mid November)
For the patterned background I decided to go with the enlarged waves design as I felt that it worked best in creating a funky, but not overly busy aesthetic which some of the other pattern experiments did. Peer feedback also suggested that this simple colour block pattern worked best out of the bunch.
I have applied the pattern to the front and back to create consistency. The back designs have also been developed over the past week with more information and illustrations added appropriate to each recipe kit.
