Studios of the Future

In todays PPP session was our task was to develop and pitch ideas for studios (or businesses) of the future. We worked in groups of 6 and presented our ideas at the end. My group: Me, Jake, Jocel, Libby, Kristen and Brylle.

Mandatory considerations:

-Decide the name and branding of your studio or business
-An insight into the predicated trends that your concept is based upon or responds to
-The way your studio meets the new needs
-How to price your services

Apple have taken over and they're coming out with a product called iSight, it basically changes what you see according to the music you're listening to, games you're playing, books you're reading. The product aims to take out the negative aspects of your daily life. We do the UI and branding for it (were an ad agency), the new apple product which we are advertising and branding basically focuses on product placement/advertising in real life.

Name ideas for our studio:
-Websight
-Insight
-Insight Studios
-Incite Studios

Initial idea for name: Incite- the meaning of incite is to encourage unlawful behaviour.
However, we decided to keep the name for our studio/ad agency as insight, as the word incite isn't very consumer friendly as it doesn't have a positive meaning behind it.

Different pricing/the different packages you can buy:

-Hearing (cheapest)
-Visuals (middle price)
-Visuals and hearing (most expensive)

Pricing strategy:

Using billboards as a base: from 5000 for one day to well over 50, 000
For every increased sale for every company, we get 5% of it.

Insight branding:


Insight Ad Agency (brief description of who we are and what we do):

In the year 2030, Apple have taken over. Their newest innovation is iSight, a form of AI that has the ability to improve quality of life. Using advanced technology, new airpods block out unpleasant sounds such as busy traffic, noisy neighbours and loud talkers.

Insight Studios are a marketing agency taking advantage of the new technology. We are developing immersive advertising strategies that market campaigns beyond digital screens and converge with the realms of our physical world.

At insight we decided to make everyday product advertisement from our phones, laptops and TV’s a reality. This is tangible product placement in the real world.
