Our strategy should depend entirely on the context of what we're trying to achieve. Think clearly about who you are trying to reach, then how it’s best to reach them. Where do they spend their time?
I have come up with a list of different ideas and potential starting points for concepts:
- Send something physical to each studio/designer that shows a variety of mixed medias and my personality/work ethic.
- Send something interactive that requires the studios and designers to get in touch with me via the design proposal/object that I send them. Could include a link/QR code which they have to scan that sends them to my details and website.
- An event or project in which offers the designers and studios something which benefits them whilst promoting myself, something that includes them giving me credit, a workshop even- not sure what exactly this something would be yet
- Use social media platform in an interesting way which invites studios and creatives to take part in something I have created/arranged
