Publication Test Mockup

This afternoon I printed a test mockup of the panda project publication that comes in the panda pack before I print it off digitally tomorrow.

Printing a mockup before hand allowed me to see if anything needed re-sizing or moving such as the sizes of text being too big or small or imagery being cut off or inconsistent when the pages are folded. I printed the mockup in black and white as it was only a test and a colour copy would have been more expensive.

The main changes that were made were some of the large body texts being made smaller to 11pt (same as most of the body text throughout the publication), the large body text felt a bit too much and also created inconsistency with the smaller body text. Some of the imagery and type was also shifted in areas where the page folds created the image/text to not match up correctly.

The publication is now ready to print in tomorrows print slot along with the wrap around/belly band cover that goes around it and the 2 A5 sticker sheets that come within the panda pack.
