Essay title

Essay binding and where to do it:

Learning outcomes recap:

  • Blog the essay at the end
  • Digital outcomes on memory sticks and blogs (blogs can be used as backups also)
  • For my packaging take photographs and show them actually 3D in the submission, nets and the folded actual versions (maybe get a bigger folder)
  • Usual requirements: 6-8 design boards, blogs, final outcomes (physical/digital) with essay (5000 words) and project statement
  • Update the ethics questionnaire if you need to

Project statement:

Explain how the essay, reading and research influenced the practical outcome. How the things that I explored in the essay influenced what I created, basically everything that influenced the practical.

Do not simply describe what you did, this will be obvious when looking at the essay and design boards. Be critical of the project, explaining and justifying your approach, reflecting on your processes, restating your conclusions.

There is no word count or limit. Aim for about a page? Submit it on blog and in A3 folder.

SUBMISSION DETAILS: 12th December 2019, 1:30- 3:00pm, Room 134
All work should be in a clear A3/A2 folder, the essay, physical outcomes, design boards, submission label and project statement.
